April 2012 Crime Report

Despite the awful news about the robbery on LaVista, April was a fairly routine month for us crime wise for the most part. There were only 5 home break-ins throughout the area. We a couple of car break-ins that were two-fers. Two different cars were broken into near each other on the same night. These pairs occurred just 4 days apart, so possibly the same bad guy. Lowest Greenville Avenue Parking Experience

Parking has always been a big issue in the areas around Greenville Avenue. Our residents often wonder why LGNA takes a hard line on this issue. March 2012 Crime Report

Our unusual absence of crime last month was short lived. Our numbers for March were mostly back to normal with a little St. Pat’s bump. Car break-ins were up this month, mostly in the area north of McCommas and south of Belmont. These seemd to cluster around the Turtle Dove apartments and the area behind the Billiard Bar.
