Enter our LGNA T-Shirt Contest!

LGNA is partnering with Bullzerk to develop a t-shirt as unique and cool as our neighborhood and its residents!

Submit a tagline by August 29 to president@lgna.net and you could win a free t-shirt (of course) as well as a $25 gift card to Bullzerk.

If you have artistic talent, you can submit graphic designs as well and win that way too.

Obviously, clever and catchy is good, off color, not so much. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Digital Kiosk Public Meeting – 15 Aug 2024

The City of Dallas is considering adding digital kiosks to pedestrian areas around the city. As a result, city staff is seeking public input on the plan.

The meeting is scheduled for 15 August 2024, 6-8pm. It will be hosted in-person and virtually. Please see the flyer below for more information. If you wish to attend, in-person or virtually, you must pre-register HERE.

A digital kiosk is a a self-standing structure assembled in strategic pedestrian areas, such as sidewalks and public spaces. It is a self-service unit that features a touchscreen display and is designed to provide information, services, or products. In contrast, a static kiosk is non-interactive and advertises non-digital products, services, or information.

Geneva Heights Elementary School’s New Campus Ready for Students

The staff and administration of Geneva Heights Elementary School (GHES) are thrilled to welcome back students to their newly renovated campus.

After two years at a temporary location, families and new members of the GHES community can finally enjoy the upgraded facilities. Construction crews are hard at work putting the final touches on the campus to ensure everything is ready for Meet the Teacher Night on August 8 and the first day of school on August 12.

The Geneva Heights community’s resilience and patience have paid off, and the newly renovated campus will be ready to inspire and support students for years to come!

Stay tuned for more information about an open house during which members of the LGNA community can tour the facility.
