For our “It’s Fall Y’all” event this year, LGNA is again hosting a Halloween-themed Block Party on Saturday, October 26 with spooky fun for “kids” of all ages. It will be held from 2pm to 5pm on Concho between Palo Pinto and Velasco. There will be live music, lots of food and drink, seasonal family-friendly activities, a Halloween Costume Parade for families (and pets), and lots of opportunities to hang with old friends and meet new neighbors. The event is free but donations are welcome to help offset the costs and to support the Peace Pantry food banks, which serve students in need at our two elementary schools, Geneva Heights and Mockingbird.
The Halloween Costume Parade will leave from the Block Party around 4:00pm. Parade spectators and those giving out candy can line up along Concho between Palo Pinto and Goliad and along Delmar between Goliad and Velasco. Parade participants will return to the Block Party for the awarding of costume contest prizes. Families from across LGNA are welcome to participate.
Fall Y’all Halloween Block Party events include: – Live music from School of Rock – Mexican food from El Come Taco – Bounce House – Halloween Parade & Costume Contest – Spooky crafts – Pumpkin decorating – Halloween Photo Booth – Donations for the elementary school Peace Pantries
If you’d like to help volunteer with set up, clean up or with some of the activities, please reach out to the “It’s Fall Y’all” organizing committee at lgnafallyall@gmail.com.
The party is BYOB, but we do have two kegs of beer to share from our generous friends at Meyboom Brasserie. This event has received wonderful support from our fantastic business neighbors and residents alike. THANK YOU to our following sponsors.
Platinum Sponsors
The B.A.R Real Estate Group is back as a Platinum Sponsor for the 2nd year in a row. We would certainly hate to see any neighbors leave LGNA, but sometimes moving is inevitable. If you’re looking to sell your home (or buy!!), reach out to neighbor and real estate agent Courtney Conley!
Meyboom Brasserie is again providing beer and the use of their kegerator this year for our It’s Fall Y’all event! They have delicious beers from Belgium & the surrounding region that aren’t often found at other local bars and restaurants. Go check them out!
The Village Baking Co. has graciously agreed to be a Platinum Sponsor this year. If you haven’t stopped by their Boulangerie on Lower Greenville to sample some of their breads & pastries, you’re definitely missing out. The Kouign-amann is out of this world!
