We hope you’ll join us at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, November 11 for a special program that will highlight Robert E. Lee Elementary School’s academic programs, after-school care programs, awards, and upcoming events. Tours of the school will be offered after a short presentation. Join us at the school’s front yard facing Delmar.
Lee has the highest rating offered by the State of Texas, and there are a number of improvements in facilities, technology, and academics just around the corner. This program gives neighbors an opportunity to learn more about the positive aspects of Lee as well as to demonstrate to city and school officials that the LGNA community supports our neighborhood schools.
DISD Superintendent Mike Miles, DISD Board President Miguel Solis, DISD Board member Mike Morath, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, and Councilmembers Philip Kingston and Adam Medrano will be in attendance. We’ll also meet Lee’s new principal, Bridget Ransom.
